Home Design

Rendezvous Bay’s design rules have been designed to facilitate architecture that blends nature with the built environment. Spectacular views and tropical breezes will highlight the outdoor living spaces, and the overriding aesthetic is one of relaxed, organic, timeless spaces.

With the low density of the development providing the luxury of privacy, the homes of Rendezvous Bay will each be their own retreats. Design rules calling for broken spaces and empathetic building placements will allow for entertaining family and friends as well as providing restful areas and escapes inside each property.

A homesite purchaser can use one of the Rendezvous Bay custom designs, create a bespoke version, or design their own home working directly with Rendezvous Bay in-house drafting or a preferred architect.  Designs should be consistent with the general direction and island architecture suggested in the Rendezvous Bay Design Control Rules and approved by the Design Review Panel. You can work with on-island or international interior designers of your choice. We can assist with the formation of your creative team and will work closely with them on your estate home.

Construction

The Rendezvous Bay construction team will be responsible for the delivery of each home. With budgeting personnel available the team will work directly with the client or an appointed professional through the design process to create the final home construction plan.

The Rendezvous Bay team will supervise all construction using local contractors in a competitive process, and will provide warranties on this construction to the client. Legal services and interior design can also be provided by Rendezvous Bay personnel, or as with the home design, the team can work with appointed third-party professionals for these services to deliver each client’s completed and furnished home.
